Summary:
When Rory Macintosh’s roommates find out that their studious and shy friend has never been with a guy, they decide that, as an act of kindness they’ll help her lose her virginity by hiring confident, tattooed bad boy Tyler Mann to do the job…unbeknownst to Rory.

Tyler knows he’s not good enough for Rory. She’s smart, doctor smart, while he’s barely scraping by at his EMT program, hoping to pull his younger brothers out of the hell their druggy mother has left them in. But he can’t resist taking up her roommates on an opportunity to get to know her better. There’s something about her honesty that keeps him coming back when he knows he shouldn’t…

Torn between common sense and desire, the two find themselves caught up in a passionate relationship. But when Tyler’s broken family threatens to destroy his future, and hers, Rory will need to decide whether to cut her ties to his risky world or follow her heart, no matter what the cost…

5/5

God this book was like a breath of fresh air. It was exactly what I want a book to be. It was just perfect.

The characters were brilliant! There was no unnecessary drama or stupid decisions. They were so level headed. Rory I want to hug. She thought everything through, never jumped to silly conclusions and was not afraid to go after what she wanted when all was said and done. She stuck to her guns, was never whiny and was over all the most sensible character I've ever come across. I loved her because of that. Tyler I also loved. His situation broke my heart I just wanted to hug him and protect him from all the bad things in his life. He was so sweet and protective of Rory. He just wanted to do the right thing even if he ended up getting hurt. He wanted the best for Rory. Their relationship was so sweet and heart-warming, but at the same time heart-breaking.

Rory's friends I loved as well. Even though they were like polar-opposites to Rory in the sense that they were party animals and she wasn't they were still great friends to her. They were so loyal and thought that they were doing the right thing by helping their friend out with her "situation". One tiny thing that slightly bugged me though was when Rory found out that her friends payed Tyler to sleep with her. She never even confronted her friends over it. I would have been a little bit more upset over that but I could still understand Rory's logic behind not telling them. She didn't want to start into a big fight with her friends because she didn't want to lose them but I still think she should have said something.

There is so much more to this story than just Rory trying to lose her virginity. It is as much Tyler's story as it is hers. The situation that he is in is so heartbreaking and crushing and you really feel for him. I so wanted everything to work out for these two because Tyler really deserved to have a happy ending.

If I keep babbling on I'm just gonna start repeating myself. All you need to know is that this book is perfect and you need to read it! Do it! You won't regret it. And I cannot wait for the next book for Jessica and Riley's story :) I know it's gonna be just as awesome.
